Love this Monitor I bought the Sony Baby Call (now priced at $69.95) when my son was born two and half years ago. We love it. We recently moved and the monitor still works great. His room is downstairs and we are up. I love that the batteries are rechargeable and the voice activation option. My son has a white noise machine in his room and we never pick it up on the voice activation. It only clicks on when he calls for us.
My daughter just moved into her crib and we needed a monitor for her. I bought a cheap monitor from a local store to see if I would like it, but I can't stand another night of talk radio through the monitor. Plus, it eats 3AAA batteries every other day.
This yellow monitor is just the replacement for the blue baby call I bought for my son. The detailed description on the Sony website is exactly the same, with a color change (yellow) to the monitor (and a lower price). This is great for me, so I can tell the two apart. I have not had any interference between the two monitors. Also, my daughter sleeps later than my son, so her receiver comes downstairs in the mornings, but we can change the channels on it in the afternoon for my son's base and pick up his room. Great when he's napping and we don't want to run upstairs again.
I've definitely been sleeping better since I got this monitor and have recommended it to all my friends having babies. It's a wish list must.
pleased then not i was so pleased with this cover when it first arrived. it is incredibly accomidating and fit perfectly over my giant jogger stroller. way better fit than the one that i had been previously using (it finally tore after over 2 years of use). within a week of using however, the seem tore. its winter now and i use it to keep my child warm on outdoor walks. unfortunately, the plastic gets brittle in the cold and as i was adjusting the cover over the stroller one day, it cracked! i need a reliable stroller cover that will last more than a month and can hardly justify buying replacements on a weekly basis.
Needs work. I really like the leap pad products for my children. However, this one needs allot of work. The pages are really flimsy and is difficult to operate. My 18 month old toddler wanted just to push the on/off button. They need to make several adjusments to this item. It was hard even for me to push the touch system. I am hoping that they will change this item around to be more user friendly to the specified age group. It is a great idea but poorly made. The touch is nice and should be more sensitive or have less pages, or something to the fact that they don't have to pound on the pad to get a response. I know leap pad can do better. We took this item back to the store ASAP! The pillow in the back is a nice idea.
Saved my sanity I can now get ready in my bathroom without fear of losing all my tp to my curious toddler. This is easy to use, and easy to leave unlatched and in the roll as well.
A vast improvement over others we've tried We bought this seat after our other Safety 1st seat had us completely fed up. It was difficult to clean and definitely not good for larger kids or boys. I think Safety 1st has redeemed themselves with this seat.
The removable seat is REALLY cushy - you can pick it up and bend it all over the place without damaging it. Rather than having a seperate shield for little boys, you simply flip the cushy seat to take advantage of the built-in cushy shield.
The potty is incredibly easy to clean...you just remove the blue cushy seat, dump the contents in the toilet, and give it a quick rinse. The inside of the potty is smooth and has soft curves, unlike other potties that are full of 90 degree angles and tiny nooks and crannies that are difficult to clean.
Unlike some similar potties, the handles on this seat can attach to the base so it is easy to transport if needed. The handles are also removable for easy cleaning.
